This is a digital crochet pattern file (PDF) containing detailed round by round instructions with process pictures on how to make this cute little toy - Olivia the Otter. SKILLS
To make this toy you need to have intermediate (or an adventurous beginner :) ) crochet skills and be familiar with how to do basic stitches (magic ring, single crochet, chain, increase, invisible decrease, front loops only and back loops only). Some of the techniques such as front/back loops only, color change and invisible decrease are explained in the pattern.
This toy should turn out to be around 6,5in/17cm tall. Please note that the final result of your toy may look a little different from the one in the pictures since it depends on your skill level and materials.

A pair of 9 mm safety eyes
Sewing needles

Cotton yarn (50g – 125m/1.75 oz – 136 yds/DK/Light worsted) in following colors:

sc – single crochet
inc – increase
dec – invisible decrease
ch – chain
flo – front loops only
blo – back loops only
dc – double crochet
sl – slip stitch
… – total number of stitches in a row
(…) x – repeat the fragment indicated number of times
