Material Requirements
The Lion Head that has been crocheted for this pattern, was made using a yarn called-
Stylecraft double-knit in the following colours.

light brown/mocha, approx 70g

Camel approx 50g
Parchment approx 5g
Gingerbread approx 30g- mane
Black approx 5g
Polyester toy stuffing
Eyes 30mm (plastic safety eyes or glass looped eyes).
Wire brush for making the mane

This yarn is a 8ply/DK/fine 3 weight. You can use any weight yarn for this pattern it will just give a larger finished size.


Crochet Hook
2.50mm

Size

Using this weight yarn and size hook will give you a lion roughly measuring
40cm/16 inches measured top of the mane to the bottom of the head.
30cm/ 12 inches from side to side .
24cm/ 9.5 inches from the back of the head to the nose
