Ollie the Reindeer is a fun ornament to crochet. He has adorable antler buttons and sports a felt scarf. Crochet one for yourself and a few more for friends and family!

FINISHED SIZE 10 1/2” in circumference

MATERIALS
Medium weight yarn in light brown (70yds), brown (40yds), and a small amount of dark brown – (I used Paintbox Cotton Aran yarn)
Crochet hook F/3.75mm
2 – 12mm plastic eyes
Felt in green for scarf and pink for ears
Ribbon cord, about 8 inches
etc.

HOW IT IS WORKED
The body of the ornament is worked first, with the cord and eyes added before finishing. The brown coloring for the back is added onto the finished body. Then the muzzle, ears, and antler buttons are made with basic crochet techniques, and then sewn on afterward. Small pieces of felt are used for the scarf and ears.
