Top-down, simple watchcap in super-stretchy 3 x 2 ribbing. The increase pattern makes a nice star pattern at the crown. One size fits even the largest or smallest head. This would be an excellent “crusher” hat to stuff into your pocket so it’s there when needed.

Total hat length is about 7.5” (19cm), laying flat. Uses exactly one skein of Knit Picks Swish worsted yarn (110 yards). Note that the Gauge is for completely unstretched ribbing (in other words, showing only the knit sts), but isn’t all that important for this hat due to the stretchiness of the ribbing pattern.

knit (K), purl (P), knit front & back (Kfb), purl front & back (Pfb)
