Olric is a beanie and scarf kit where knit and purl stitches create chevrons and the illusion of cables.

The hat is knit in the round using an Aran weight yarn, with shifting stitches that create texture while remaining easy to knit. Since the hat is knit in the round, you can either fold the ribbing to get a beanie or keep the ribbing unfolded for a slouchy hat!
