Ölveig needed a new shawl for winter.

“plain and striped, she said, expecting snow spirit! you know what i mean, simple and sparkly, white and blue but almost grey!”
after a long and delicate chit chat, we finally went for a lace triangle shawl with a very simple striped border made with garter stitch.

winter is coming soon but don’t worry, this pattern is not difficult to knit and very quick made!

gauge is not very important. the finished shawl measures about 11” x 30”.
i made mine with a 2 ply lace yarn, but any fingering weight can be fine.

this pattern is charted for a doll. BUT, you can knit it for a child or, why not, for you if you repeat the chart as long as you want!
in this case, just plan more yarn (300 meters for a 4yo child; from 420 meters for you)**
