I love variegated sock yarn, but sometimes it’s hard to find the right pattern to go with it. With slip stitch cables and small garter stitch details, Olympia is a great pattern for the wildest of sock yarns! These elements work with your yarn, rather than fighting it. The sock is worked from the top down, with a traditional heel flap. Written in three sizes, you can make beautiful socks for all your friends.

Pattern Notes
The pattern is written for the small size socks with the instructions for the medium and large sizes written in parentheses ( ), where necessary. If no parentheses are used, the instructions are the same for all sizes.

Chart pattern includes both chart and written instructions.

If knitting the large-size socks, you may need additional yarn, especially if the sock is for someone with a foot larger than a Women’s US Size 9.

Size Medium socks shown. Yarn used for socks: Done Roving Yarns, Twin Tootsees, 50% superwash merino, 50% tencel, (410 yards/113 grams), in color By the Sea (1 kit)

Done Roving’s Twin Tootsees Sock Kit allows for perfectly matching socks. The yarn comes packaged in a cute kit, and already wound. Start each sock with the center of the ball, and your socks will match – so easy!
