Create your own Olympia Beanie - inspired by the hat Snowboarder Chloe Kim wore after winning gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
This beanie was made specifically using 1 full hank of Malabrigo Rasta yarn, but other super bulky yarns are suitable so long as gauge is met.
The Olympia Beanie features a classic ribbed texture and a fold-over brim. Customize it to your style by wearing it with the brim unfolded for a slouchy look, or top it with your favorite faux fur pom (or no pom at all!).
This beanie includes specific instructions for an ADULT FEMALE head (21-22.5” circumference) but notes are provided for adjusting to a smaller or larger circumference.
Please note that if you are going to make a larger or more slouchy hat, or intend to make a yarn pom pom, you will need more yarn than what the pattern calls for.
Pattern includes:
-Detailed list of materials needed
-Gauges
-Approximate finished measurements
-Terminology guide (this pattern uses standard US knitting terms)
-Detailed notes to help guide you through the pattern
-Notes on sale and distribution
-Written pattern
-Links to video tutorials for certain techniques used.
