When I was 7 my Grandmother introduced me to the wondrous world of textile arts by teaching me how to replace a button on my coat. This is the pattern I worked up to replace the frayed blanket that Oma’s grandmother had made for her when she was a child. I share it with the world now in loving memory of my late Oma. All proceeds from this pattern’s sales are going to my great niece’s college fund as the last gift from our beloved Oma.
