Ombre Stripe
When I see a quilt that so easily translates to crochet in my
mind, I almost always have to get it on my hook that very
moment. Tula Pink’s Shoreline quilt called me to the design
board and had me fi guring out how to incorporate that
beautiful tonal color range. Paging through dozens of yarns
online, one of my favorite pastimes, I discovered Kamgarn
Papatya Batik yarn, which features monochrome palettes
with long color changes. There are other yarns like this on the
market; just pick a favorite and you, too, can daydream you’re
working with a full range of ombré fabrics for this mock quilt.
