Tired of single-colored hats? Got two skiens of fingering lying about? Then this pattern is for you!

The ladderback jackard technique is recommended as the ‘wave’ in the pattern means there are some long floats to carry. There is a extra jackard chart version of the chart included that details the stitches that will be on the needles for the colourwork section. Ladderback jackard is not essential, but really helps if using high contrast colours.

As a bonus I have included a simple chart for the hat without the “wave”, this can be made no problem with classic stranded knitting (don’t carry floats on single colour rows!).
