Introduction
These bottom-up socks were inspired by cold morning yoga practices, when you’re just struggling to wake up and do that first downward dog and you just need a bit of extra warmth to get you going. The colourwork OM worked into the base of of the sock not only make your feet snug and stylish in class, but also help you go through some of those small bits of random yarn you’re always left with at the end of a ball. Working in the round without any increasing or decreasing or pesky heels, you’ll find these work up faster than your average sock. These instructions are open to the use of any preferred circular knitting method you might have (DPNs, magic loop, two circulars) and include tips on how to run your contrast colour in the back of your work so that your end product isn’t an unwearable mess.

Level of Difficulty
Beginner/Intermediate: knowledge about how to knit and join in the round, how to do a cable cast on, and how to read a colourwork chart in the round is a plus.

Size Options
If your foot circumference is wider or narrower, you may want to cast on or take a way 4 more or less stitches (dividing the extra stitches evenly on either end of the colour-work chart).
