A small baby blanket which is ideal for a pram cover or in the car seat. The size was dictated by the number of needles available to work on the machine.

As this is knitted on the bias, it does need good blocking before or after completing the edging to pull into a square shape. The cotton did not do this well and it falls back to a kite shape.

Perhaps use duplicate stitch to embroider a little kite in one corner to ‘embrace the kite’!!
