On the Bias is a cute little shawl with endless possibilities. Carefully placed decreases and increases give the shawl its v-shape, which makes it easy to wear loosely over the shoulder, without falling off. Change yarn weight according to your plans of wearing it all day or only for special occasions.

Notes: On the Bias is worked in 2 pieces and the grafted together with Kitchener Stitch

Materials
Yarn: 458 yds/420 m fingering weight yarn. Sample is shown in Kidsilk Haze from Rowan. (70% kid mohair, 30% silk).
Needles: 1 US 8/5 mm circular of length 24 in/60 cm.

Gauge
19 sts and 22 rows = 4 in /10 cm in pattern stitch.

Sizes
Directions are given for 1 size.
17.7 in/45 cm wide and 67 in/170 cm long after blocking.
Change yarn weight for a larger shawl.
