On the Diagonal is a triangle / boomerang shawl.
Both charted and written directions are given. This is an easy pattern that is good for newbies and experts alike. It is a very flexible pattern and should work with most yarn weights up to worsted.
This shawl goes beyond simple garter stitch to create a mesmerizing rippling effect that is achieved with knits and purls.
Skill Level: Beginner to intermediate

Knit, purl, Increase stitches (Knit Front back) and Decrease stitches (Knit two together)
