A simple to knit hat pattern designed as part of our local annual hats for kids project.

The textured overall pattern is easily achieved with knit and purl stitches. Although written in a child size, this hat pattern is easily adjusted to other sizes by increasing or decreasing the cast-on stitches in multiples of 12.

The design is suitable for all ages and sizes. Knit one for yourself and one as a gift. If you’re a charity knitter, this hat is a quick and easy project.
