On the Edge Scarf
by Diane Kelly
The patterning in this scarf is created by casting on and binding off to create blocks which are then worn on the bias. The pattern repeat is easy once you get going and the scarf drapes and lengthens because of being worn on the bias. It uses about 350 yds of a either fingering or sport weight yarn. The pattern scarf is in a hand dyed silk that has a lot of drape with this gauge. It can be lengthened or shortened by increasing or decreasing the number of blocks knitted.
