A simple asymmetric triangle shawl which gets its name from the different finish on each of the three edges.

The blocked shawl is 200 (240)cm/ 79 (94)in along the top edge, 96 (114)cm/ 38 (45)in along the picot edge and 127 (160)cm/ 50 (63)in along the lace edge.

Correct gauge is not essential, as this pattern is started wih a few stitches and worked until you only have enough yarn left to cast off.

The large shawl uses a mini skein set in Britsock Printers Ink Shades.

You could also work the shawl in a single colour. The garter stitch means this would work well in variegated yarns too.

The smaller shawl uses a 100 gram skein of Britsock in Printer Ink.

The shawl is worked on a 3.5mm circular needle, but if you prefer straight pins they will work too.
