In the past few years, my husband and I have renewed our love of hiking. After many climbs with my favorite hiking buddy, I knew that this knitworthy guy needed a new hat. The colors are striped together for an interesting blend, representing roots, rocks, trees and peaks. This hat is easy to knit and works great for many outdoor activities. It is both warm, and breathes easily when you heat up On The Trail!

On The Trail is knit in the round, from the bottom up. It has a short ribbing and the rest is stockinette stitch. Two colors are striped together using Fibonacci Numbers to determine the stripe widths.
