Taking the road less traveled is much more fun when you bring your knitting along. This garter and eyelet stitch shawl is knit sideways offering a little bit of relaxation and interest - just like a good walking trail. This pattern includes instructions for both dk/worsted and fingering weight yarn

Fingering version uses 800 yards, size 6 needle. Yarn used in sample is 2 skeins of Olive Yarn Bella Sock (Ravelry gives the yardage as less than 400 but the label lists 420 yards)

Dk/worsted version uses 600 yards, size 10 needle. Yarn used in sample is Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran (6 balls)
