LO QUE NECESITAS SABER PARA TEJER ESTE JERSEY:
Para tejer este jersey es necesario saber tejer punto del derecho y del revés, tejer en circular, montar puntos por cualquier método, aunque se recomienda el de la hebra larga, realizar aumentos y reducciones y conocer la técnica de los puntos deslizados (pero si no la dominas, es perfecto para iniciarse en ella).

CÓMO SE HACE:
Este es un jersey top down, es decir se empieza tejiendo por el escote, a continuación se teje el canesú, después se teje el cuerpo, y finalmente se tejen las mangas. Se realiza de una sola pieza, sin ninguna costura. Se teje en punto del derecho, excepto el cuello, los puños y el remate del bajo de la prenda que se tejen en punto elástico. Para evitar los saltos de color en los cambios que van haciendo los dos colores, porque cada vuelta se teje en un color, se deslizan puntos, o lo que es lo mismo, se pasan sin tejer, para que queden líneas de contraste que dan más definición al jersey.

MUESTRA:
17 puntos y 23 vueltas para una muestra de 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) en punto jersey, sin bloquear.

HILO:
5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) ovillos de Bio-Wool de Rosarios 4 (100% lana orgánica; 50 g / 72 m; 1.76 oz / 76 yd) para el color principal.
4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6) ovillos de Bio-Wool de Rosarios 4 (100% lana orgánica; 50 g / 72 m; 1.76 oz / 76 yd) para el color de contraste.
Los colores empleados en las fotografías son el 22, marrón chocolate y el 30, rosa.

AGUJAS:
Agujas circulares de 5 mm (US 8) con cables de 40 cm (16”) para el escote y 80 cm (32”) para el cuerpo, o las necesarias para obtener la muestra de tensión (sin bloquear).

1 marcador para el inicio de vuelta, 4 marcadores para marcar los aumentos, aguja lanera para rematar las hebras.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO KNIT THIS SWEATER:
To knit this sweater you need to know how to knit, purl, perform a long tail cast-on (recommended, but you can use your preferred method), bind off stitches, make increases and decreases, work in the round, and be familiar with slipping stitches (you do not need to be an expert in slipped stitches, this is a perfect pattern to get started in it).

HOW IT IS DONE:
This sweater is knit top-down, i.e. it is started to knit at the neckline, and then you will knit the yoke, the body, and finally the sleeves. It is worked seamlessly, all in one piece. It is worked all in stockinette stitch, except for the neckline, the cuffs and the bottom of the body, which are knit in ribbing. To avoid jogs when changing colours (each round is worked in an alternating colour) stitches are slipped from one needle to the other without knitting them, so that the colour stripes are more contrasted and give more definition to the sweater.

GAUGE:
17 stitches and 23 rows in 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) in stockinette stitch, without blocking.

YARN:
5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) balls of Bio-wool by Rosarios 4 (100% Organic Wool; 50 g / 72 m; 1.76 oz / 76 yd) as main colour.
4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6) balls of Bio-wool by Rosarios 4 (100% Organic Wool; 50 g / 72 m; 1.76 oz / 76 yd) as contrast colour.
The colourways used in the pictures are 22, chocolate brown and 30, pink.

NEEDLES:
5 mm (US 8) circular needles, with a cable of 40 cm (16”) for the neckline and 80 cm (32”) for the body, or the required needle size to obtain gauge (without blocking).

OTHER NOTIONS:
1 stitch marker for the beginning of the round, 4 stitch markers for increases, and tapestry needle to weave in ends.
