This pattern is meant to work with a variety of yarn
weights, fiber contents and textures. It is a very simple
lace pattern that can easily be worked up in an
afternoon with bulky yarn and thick needles or over a
few days at a finer gauge. Designed with unique hand
spun yarns specifically in mind but this would be an
excellent one skein project for commercial yarns as
well.
