One Giant Daisy Beanie

My mother requested a flower hat to wear in her classroom, she teaches kindergarten, so this was the end result of my first attempt. You can use this giant daisy to attach to other projects as well. I plan on using it on some throw pillows soon. If you are going to do this hat in newborn to toddler size, switch to a “g” or “h” hook instead of the “J” pattern calls for. That will scale down the size of the flower greatly. You can also subtract 3 to 5 st from each chain and make them double crochet instead of triple crochet if you desire. This is one giant daisy! Happy crafting!
