Who can resist the Siren’s Call of that One Irresistible Skein beckoning you to come closer? It might be the color, the feel, the memories it evokes - who knows? When you give in (and you know you will) this pattern will really showcase that single skein of solid or semi-solid fingering weight yarn, using the entire skein. It’s adjustable to fit your skein yardage - approx. 400 to 467 yards. That said, it might be fun to play with a gradient or speckled yarn.

This crescent-shaped shawl begins with a gently curving upper edge and a stitch design that radiates out to the edge. The 10-row repeating pattern has eyelets galore. It can be worn as either a cozy wrap, or draped lightly over your shoulders. When your friends and family see this one, they might ask you to make them one of their own! And why not? It makes wonderful gift that people you love will find as irresistible as you do.

MATERIALS:

1 skein fingering weight yarn, approximately 100 grams and 400+ yards. A few examples are:
