Super cute, easy to make MJ slippers to brighten up your day. The shell stitch pattern makes for a nice and comfy sole, that is soft to walk on and wraps nicely around your feet. Elastic heel keep the slippers from falling off. I wrote down each size mentioned above line for line.

This pattern is easy to read and follow. It is divided into clear sections for each row to make the reading easy on the eyes.

The slippers work up real fast and the pattern includes a wide range of sizes, so you can make slippers to all the members of the family (even though I am not sure how delighted male family members would be to receive a pair of pink crochet slippers, I’ll let you be the judge of that).

Materials

1. Hook: 4 mm (US G6) crochet hook

2. Aran / 10 ply (8 wpi) weight yarn. I used Big fabel/ Garnstudio

3. Elastic thread or band for the heel

Yardage
You will need appr 164 yards (150 meters) of yarn (1 skein of Big Fabel) . If you are making a size 42-43 you might need a little more.

Size
European: 35 (36-37-38-39-40-41-42-43)
US: 4 (5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12)

Gauge
Directions in the pattern, Gauge is based on the 3 first rows of the pattern

Time spent : 1,5 – 2 hours

Skill level: beginner

Stitches uses/ US terms: Chain, Slip Stitch, Single Crochet, Double Crochet
