This is a pattern I designed to be a chocolate orange cover.

It’s knitted flat then sewn up.

You will need:

º 4.5mm UK Knitting needles
º Yarn –
o Hayfield Bonus Value DK – Red
o Hayfield Bonus Value DK – White 0961
o Hayfield Bonus Value DK – Black
o Kingcole Baby Big Value DK – Peach 59
o Scrap yellow yarn
º Tapestry needle
º Scissors
º Small amount of toy stuffing

I’ve included a knitting chart, written instructions plus a photo guide on how to loop stitch. Don’t be intimated by this stitch, it’s very easy to learn and has a lot of fun, quirky applications. I’m thinking about using it as a lion’s mane for a jumper.
