One Row Ponshawl & a shawl, too!
A very simple one row pattern repeat in a spongy worsted chain yarn! It’s a poncho in front, a shawl in back! Or for a touch of glamour or bit of glitz, use as a shawl. For the quick knitting project, try in a brushed alpaca with lots of bloom! Either way, a warm quick gift idea with lots of wearing possibilities!
Easy one row pattern repeat, very rhymical to knit and easy to remember pattern row.
327-432 yards of a light Alpaca chain yarn. Green Ponshawl made with Lima, Teal made with Baby alpaca Brush. Size 13 straight needles work best. Both patterns are very elastic and have ample stretch. Unstretched Ponshawl measures 42, 48″ around. Shawl dimensions approximately 16″ x 68″.
