One Seam Sweater
Wow. For me, this was the scariest pattern to write!
It was my very first multi sized pattern and I knew the mathematics to go from one size to the other, but getting it onto paper so that anyone else could understand it was another thing entirely.
After writing two other (simpler) patterns for multiple sizes, I finally sat down and figured it out.
From the front, it may resemble EZ’s BSJ but that is where the similarity ends.
I am a HUGE fan of EZ but I have an uneasy relationship with the sleeve seam.
The single seam in this sweater is in an obvious spot but is invisible because it is grafted together making it look seamless.
The sweaters shown are (in order from top to bottom) size 10, size 2 and size 6 month.
edit Jan 25, 2021 - I just now noticed that I missed the PDF version of this pattern when I fixed the typo in the three paper versions I have of this pattern. The first shaping row should say ‘3 stitches before marker B’ instead of ‘one stitch before marker B’. It has now been fixed.
