One Skein Bumpy Cowl
by Karen Vaughn
This pattern is
available for free.
This will easily slide over your head and sit lightly around your neck while keeping you warm at the same time. You have the option of cinching in the seam or leaving it full, remember - crochet is personal so make it the way you want it to fit!
Your tension throughout a given project will make for different sizes, my stitch is usually a “medium” loose, so this cowl took all but about 14 inches of 1 skein of Deborah Norville’s Chunky Yarn. If you crochet loosely or use a larger hook you will need more than one skein.
This pattern can easily be adapted into a hooded cowl by crocheting more rows, to the height of your choice; it will take more than one skein to make it hooded.
