both look great knit at a wide variety of gauges and textures.

1 hank each: 1457 Clear Sky or 1481 Bud Green

Needles
Knitting needles in size US 10 (6 mm) or size to obtain gauge.

Other Materials
Scarf 2: Medium size crochet hook to attach fringe

Scarf 1: 16 sts and 19 rows = 4” in Lace st, blocked.
Scarf 2: 20 sts and 23 rows = 4” in Moss st, blocked.
Exact gauge is not crucial to the success of this project.
