The first time I made this hat was on a trip out to Fort Davis, Texas. My sister forgot to bring her beanie and it was surprisingly cold. I always bring yarn with me, so I made up a hat one evening while we were watching a movie. Then with the remaining yarn I made some fingerless gloves the next night.

The hat is worked from the top down and uses several techniques to give texture. I try to explain them well in the pattern, but if you need additional help, please feel free to message me.

The gloves start with a cuff. If you have smaller wrists or hands, it’s a fairly simple pattern to adjust as needed, but again, if you need any help, please message me and I’ll be happy to work with you.

Supplies:
5mm hook
Yarn Needle for sewing in ends
Scissors
