This is a simple neckerchief that allows you to get a useful piece of knitwear out of a single skein of Rowan Lima. I’m sure it would also work for other yarns, but I couldn’t guarantee that you could get it from a single skein!

If you want to make it bigger, into a shawlette or full size shawl, that can very easily be done, you just need to increase the number of times you repeat steps 8 and 9. You will, of course, need much more yarn.

ERRATA: It’s been pointed out to me that row 7 has an error, it should be p4, slip marker, p3 instead of p3, slip marker, p2. I’ll update the pattern itself as soon I have access to a computer with pdf printing.
