This little lacy drawstring bag was created to hold a deck of Tarot cards, but it’s also great as a gift bag, or for anything you want to keep in a pretty, knitted bag.

Knit seamlessly in the round from the top down. It only takes one 50g skein, so it’s a great opportunity to splurge on the good stuff! My choice was Koigu KPM, but any luxurious fingering weight yarn will do, as long as it’s the same gauge or close to it.

The final measurements are approximately 9.5” (25cm) by 6.5” (16.5 cm). The ribbon I used for the drawstring is 40” (101.6 cm) long, and 1” (2.5 cm) wide.

The pattern is easy enough for a beginner. If it’s your first time trying lace, this is a good place to start. If you’re a more advanced knitter, you’ll have this little guy whipped up in no time! Great for stash busting, or last minute gifts.
