Quite easy one piece pattern with stokinette stitches, moss stitches and double moss stitches.

Apart from yarn and needles you will also need ribbons and 4-6 large buttons.

I have used super bulky 100% wool, but other types of yarn, suitable for needles 15 EU, should work fine.
