One Way Farm Wrap
This is a very simple rectangular wrap made in elongated garter stitch. It can be made in any width or any length the knitter wants. I had one full ball and part of another of lace weight mohair yarn that I wanted to use up, and I wanted to make something to put in a raffle basket. I needed something quick, easy, and with no thinking required, so I came up with this shawl. The fabric created is light enough to be worn bunched around the neck like a scarf, but can be draped around the shoulders in an overly air conditioned restaurant or theater. It can be worn with casual jeans or over a dress for a dressier occasion.
Gauge isn’t important, but the knitter can cast on an uneven number of stitches and work a swatch to determine how many stitches should be cast on to obtain the size s/he wishes.
I named it after The One Way Farm, the charity the raffle benefited. www.OneWayFarm.org. It a worthy organization helping abused, neglected and disabled children.
