Worsted weight COTTON yarn (acrylic would melt) & a 5 mm hook

What’s this: These are the Onion Soup SIL cozies. They are part of my collection of free patterns.

This project was inspired by 2 of my students (sisters in law, actually) =)

Why should I make these: Make your own Onion Soup cozies, and keep your table safe from that crazy hot bowl!

When will these get the most use: When we get to supah-hot-soup-weather!

Who are they for: Your home! House-warming or hostess gifts!

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Easy - You’ll need to be comfortable with (or eager to learn) basic crochet stitches, as well as working in the round. You will need Worsted weight COTTON yarn (acrylic would melt) & a 5 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.

Je commence où? Modèle Facile – Vous devez être confortable avec (ou avoir envie d’apprendre) les mailles de base au crochet & le travail en tours. Vous aurez besoin de COTTON de poids Worsted (l’acrylique fondrait) & d’un crochet 5 mm. Vous aurez aussi besoin d’une aiguille à laine et de marque-points.
