This easy knit blanket is a perfect model for a beginner knitter. All you need to know is how to knit and purl.

You should know how to cast on, knit, purl, read a row by row knitting pattern, bind off stitches and weave in ends.

This easy to read knitting pattern includes photos, pattern chart and has separate detailed row by row instructions for each blanket size.

5 different size blankets can be made with this pattern.

RECOMMENDED YARNS:
DK weight , light worsted or medium weight yarn
You can knit with any yarn you like : wool , organic cotton, bamboo , silk , acrylic in DK weight , light worsted or medium weight yarn.
Security 240– 440 yards (220 -275 m)
Stroller 755 – 770 yards (690 - 700 m)
Receiving 1260 – 1300 yards (1100- 1200 m)
Crib 1270 – 1300 yards (1160 – 1200 m)
Toddler 1850 - 2025 (1700 – 1850 m)
Please note, yarn amounts are approximate.

NEEDLES: US 7 - 8 (4.5 - 5 mm) 29” - 38” ( 80 cm – 100 cm) circular knitting needles or size to obtain gauge.
GAUGE: on US 7 - 8 needles (4.5 - 5 mm)
4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) = 19 sts x 32 rows
Gauge is not important as it is a blanket and it just amends the size a bit.
Other: tapestry needle, stitch markers.
