Onyx can be used as a scarf or as a stole. It is designed in Brioche Lace Technique, Which was developed by Nancy Marchant and brought out to light in her book Knitting Brioche Lace (2019).
This new technique is worked with special uses of yarn overs, the related stitches on the following counter color row are also adapted accordingly.
As with all of Nancy’s creations I was amazed by this new knowledge and decided to explore it by myself. Onyx Is the first result of this new journey.

Onyx is worked in 3 different colors: a light color which is worked as the main color throughout the pattern, and two counter colors yarn as the dark color.
Combining this special technique with Mohair Yarn brings out a beautiful and elegant result.
