The Oopsy Daisy Sweater

This sweater is a seamless design worked from the top down. The flower stems are knit into the body of the sweater after separating for the sleeves at the underarms. After blocking, the sweater is finished by using some simple embroidery techniques to stitch the flowers to the top of the stems. No embroidery experience is required. This pattern has a classic fit with approximately 1-3 inches of positive ease.

Some techniques to know: knit, purl, m1l, m1r, k2tog, ssk, pick up and knit etc

Pattern includes 8 sizes: 3-6mo, 6-12mo, 1T, 2T, 4T, 6T, 8 & 10
Skill Level: Intermediate
Yarn: 1 strand of light worsted held together with 1 strand of lace mohair
Also some scrap yarn for the flower petals.
Needles: US 8, 5mm 16-24” circular knitting needles & US 6, 4mm 16-24” circular knitting needles
Optional: US 8 & US 6 DPN’s
Optional: Embroidery Hoop

4T: 420yds
6T: 460yds
8: 500yds
10: 540yds

3-6mo: Chest 18.5”
6-12mo: Chest 20.5”

2T: Chest 24”
4T: Chest 26.5”
6T: Chest 28.5”
8: Chest 30.25”
10: Chest: 32”
