The yarn is a brushed acrylic/cotton slub, which gives an almost hazy mohair type effect and silky feel; without the itchiness that can come with natural fibres.

By using a larger hook than the manufacturer recommends you are able to achieve the lacy open work effect with just one ball of yarn.

The pattern is a 10 row repeat and should produce a scarf/wrap approx. 64” long and 14” wide, and is easy to adapt the pattern to make the item shorter/wider etc.
