Open Lace Stitch
by Olga Poltava
This pattern is
available for free.
This is a VIDEO TUTORIAL for a lacy, open stitch that can be used to make a crochet scarf, shawl, summer top, table runner or tablecloths, and lots of other crochet projects. You can also incorporate this stitch as a part of other project.
You can use the yarn and corresponding hook of your choice.
For the sample shown in the photos, I used YarnArt Begonia yarn (100% mercerized cotton, category 2), and a hook size 1.8 mm.
This stitch creates a lacy fabric with big open spaces.
The skill level is beginner.
