Open Skies
The Open Skies scarf is an ode to nature’s simplicity.
Playing with vertical and diagonal eyelet bands, Open Skies celebrates clean lines and the beauty of effortless minimalism.
It’s a lightweight rectangle scarf with garter stitch and simple eyelets. The bias construction and tapered ends create movement and flow.
This easy-to-wear scarf feels light against the skin and pairs well with any outfit, providing warmth without the bulk. A sleek little thing that doesn’t weigh you down but adds a touch of je ne sais quoi.
YARN
One skein of Zitron Seidenstrasse (65% merino, 35% silk; 400 m / 437 yds per 100 g).
Or approximately 300 m / 330 yds of similar fingering weight yarn.
NEEDLES
Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to achieve pattern gauge
This narrow scarf is worked flat, so you can use either circular needles or long straight needles.
If you’re casting on more stitches to make your wrap wider, I suggest using circular needles.
