Open Weave Foraging Bag
In my adventure to become more eco-friendly and live a greener lifestyle, I wanted to have a foraging bag that I could take with me to the store and throw my fruits and vegetables in. Thus, this bag was born. It is light enough that it won’t tare, which means the produce scale at the store won’t register the weight. This means that you can leave those delicious apples in the bag while you weigh them!
This bag is made using an acrylic yarn for the stretch that it provides. Alternatively, it can be made with a cotton yarn. Just keep in mind that cotton does not stretch. The finished product will measure approximately 8 inches across and 10 inches from the bottom to row 24. If you’d like a bigger or smaller bag, simply change your hook size! A smaller hook will create a smaller bag and a bigger hook will create a bigger bag.
