This is my openwork dreadlock tam. It is a hat that can hold almost any amount of hair, and fit almost any head. It has a tie to adjust the head size. This pattern will work with almost any worsted weight yarn. I listed the yarns I used to test the pattern.

This pattern assumes a knowledge of basic US crochet terminology. Stitches include sl st, ch, sc, and dc.
Perfect for a strong beginner.
