Openwork Mesh Layer Top
Hi there! This original pattern design in US crochet terms may not be distributed or sold as your own, but feel free to sell a finished top made from this pattern!
level: intermediate
skills: know how to ch (chain), sl st (slip stitch), sc (single crochet), dc (double crochet), fpdc (front post dc), bpdc (back post dc), & instructions are given for both the initial foundation dc row & the tall stitch
hook: G/4mm hook
yarn: 2 skeins of Premier Yarns Cotton Fair (52% cotton, 48% acrylic) #2 Fine weight in color #27-13 Slate Grey
size: adult medium/large; laid flat it is ~24” wide x ~22” tall, & after blocking it is ~18” x ~24”
gauge: 4 x 4” = ~18 alternating sts across x ~6 alternating rows down of main pattern (starting with row 4) before vertical blocking, which is ~24 alternating sts across x ~4.5 alternating rows down after blocking
As a crocheter for 20+ years now & a former professional proofreader, you can crochet this with the confidence that it has been gone over with a fine-tooth comb.
Feel free to contact me with any pattern-related questions, & I’ll typically get back to you within 24 hours.
Enjoy!
