Ophelia
This pattern is for my doll Ophelia. She makes a fun crochet project for intermediate as well as seasoned crocheters!
Ophelia and her family live in the late 19th century. They just moved from the city to the countryside. She thinks it’s very boring so far but she is about to find out that the woods behind their new home are actually an enchanted forest.
The doll is crocheted from top to bottom and there is not much sewing required.
Her skirt, apron and hat are removable. I’m sure she will make a cute addition to your Amigurumi collection.
The pattern has detailed step-by-step instructions that are accompanied by high quality photos of the process. It includes the link to an exclusive video tutorial on how to crochet the apron straps for additional assistance.
It also includes a pdf with photo tutorials (in US and UK terms) on how to make a magic ring, invisible decreases in single crochet, color changes in single crochet, and invisible finishes.
Materials and tools you need for the doll:
- Cotton yarn in a DK / light worsted weight in different colors
- 2.5mm crochet hook / Size B-1 or C-2 depending on how tightly you crochet
- 7mm safety eyes
- Fiberfill
- Stitch markers
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Craft wire (at least 1mm diameter)
- PVC tape (optional)
- Blush and eye shadow applicator (optional)
If using the recommended yarn weight and hook size your crochet doll will be about 16cm / 6.5” tall including her hat.
Languages: English (US), English (UK)
