Opus 100
An easy lace ankle-sock pattern, designed for a knitter with medium experience who is knitting her first sock.
Description from pattern:
“Short summer socks with lace legs and insteps, and decorated cuffs, heels and toes in contrast colour. Women’s medium and large widths are changed by adjusting needle size. Foot and leg length are adjusted by knitting extra repeats of the lace stitch pattern.”
Two separate, fully-written patterns included, for top-down and toe-up construction.
The pattern includes a lace stitch-pattern chart for both toe-up and top-down versions. The toe-up pattern gives instructions for two-at-a-time on two circular needles, and the top-down version requires 4 dpns.
The gauge for the large size is 28 sts per 4in, on 2.75mm or 3.00mm needles.
Yardage:
100g any 4ply yarn in main color
50g any 4ply yarn in constrast colour
