Fill up your passport, and be eligible for prizes!
Or Someone in Nebraska? is a companion to the knit version, Do You Know Someone in Alaska? The cowl is designed to fit closely to the neck and flare out over the shoulders for warmth and fun style. It uses a unique single crochet stitch called the “Waistcoat stitch” that mimics a knit stitch and results in a denser fabric than usual. The faux fur border uses simple chain and single crochets to help the fur bloom.
Difficulty Level: Advanced Beginner
Size: Neck – 17 inches / 43.2 cm
Bottom before border – 32½inches / 82.6 cm
Height of cowl before border – 6 inches / 15.25 cm

Hook: Two Crochet hooks, US K/6.5 mm (or size needed to meet gauge in waistcoat stitch) and P/10 mm; one stitch marker.
