“Orancia” was an orange limonade in my childhood, sweet and orange!
ORANCIA is another version of my Magic Brioche Hat pattern with small adaptations, but it´s fully reversible too. It´s so exciting to make little unventions in brioche knitting. To be honest with you I prefer the pattern inside - therefore you have to use the light color as the contrasting color (CC) - if you go for the “cabled” pattern use the light colored yarn as main color (MC).
The ORANCIA hat has a brim, is very stretchy and well-fitting at the same time. Knit it as a gift for the ones you love or spoil yourself. August is the perfect month to start hat knitting!
Pattern is based on basic brioche stitches, increases and decreases. As you might know, I always try to avoid a 4-stitch-decrease, which may intimidate some of you. You can do it, knitters!
The hat can be knit in multiple sizes only by changing needle size and gauge; Block the finished cap over a steep-sided bowl or other head-shaped form to smooth the crown.
