Orange Crush Rectangular Lace Wrap
by Pam Jemelian
A very dramatic statement piece! The Orange Crush Rectangular Lace Wrap Knitting Pattern is rectangular in shape, and is composed width-wise of 8 repeats of a meandering branch and orange slices lace. The lace itself forms a scalloped border on either end, so there is no need to work a separate border. Each lace pattern comprises 8 rows, and you can decide how long to make your wrap. The one that I made that is pictured is over 7 ½ feet long and 1 ¾ feet wide. Longer, wider wraps look more dramatic and are easier to wrap in many different ways. I used Cascade Ultra Pima Fine yarn in Tangerine, and a size 5, 29” circular needle to complete the shawl, and 7 skeins of 136 yards.
